Performance Audit Focusing on the Effectiveness of Support for Micro-enterprises in a Municipality of RS State after the 2024 Flood

This article is based on a performance audit focused on the principle of effectiveness and aims at analyzing the impact of a public policy designed to maintain jobs in microenterprises in a municipality of the RS state after the 2024 flood. To this end, a statistical inference tool called Student's t-test was applied to a list of local companies, revealing the result for both companies: the ones that benefited and those that did not benefit from the public resource.
