Abstract

This work has the objective of describing how the variables of the processes of monitoring bids and contracts are distributed in the Court of Accounts of the Municipality of São Paulo (TCMSP). The research is quantitative and the instrument for data analysis is Jurimetrics, which is the statistics applied to Law. The study is, therefore, descriptive. This work is justified insofar as it is necessary to know quantitatively the concrete application of the law by the Courts of Auditors. For this purpose, a survey of the judgments made by the aforementioned Court was carried out through documentary research and the data were collected in the jurisprudence section of the TCMSP website. Based on the data collected, it is possible to verify the distributions of the variables and duration of the processes of monitoring bids and contracts of this Court of Accounts.
